April 4, 2017 - April 5, 2017
The 2017 CJAB Conference: “Law Enforcement, Courts, and Corrections in the 21st Century” will, once again, bring together criminal justice, behavioral health, and treatment partners in what promises to be a dynamic and informative two-day event. We have a line-up of national and local experts that will discuss topics that are impacting our criminal justice and behavioral health systems. By popular demand, we are excited to welcome back Mr. Carl Dawson who will speak on Medications Used in Substance-Related Disorders, Treatment Recovery as well as other addiction-related topics over the two-day event. We are also excited to announce that Mr. Pete Earley, author and Pulitzer Prize finalist of Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness will be joining us as well as Dr. Brian R. Sims, a national and international consultant on the Fundamentals of Trauma-Informed Care. Other topics will include 21st Century Policing, Justice Reinvestment, Procedural Justice, and many more!
NOTE: As always there is no registration fee to attend. This event promises to be an excellent training and networking opportunity for our justice and behavioral health partners. Deadline for registration is March 15, 2017.
