Butler County Faces Addiction Conference

Presented by the Butler County Criminal Justice Advisory Board:
A two day conference on Addiction, Mental Health, and Recovery. July 26 and July 27.
$75.00 for one day of the conference
$100.00 for both days
Day one of Butler County Faces Addiction 2018 will consist of a continental breakfast and catered lunch plenary session along with 3 breakout sessions. Topics will include:
- Recovery from Addiction
- Compassion Fatigue
- Addiction and the Brain
- Co-Occurence of addiction and mental health disorders
- Mental Health First Aid
- Medically Assisted Treatment
Registration will begin at 7:30 am. The conference will run to 4:30 on day one
Day two will consist of High in Plain Sight (https://www.tallcopsaysstop.com/about). Registration will begin at 7:30, and run to 3:00. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE THAT HIGH IN PLAIN SIGHT IS OPEN TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, TREATMENT PROVIDERS, EDUCATORS, AND HUMAN SERVICES EMPLOYEES ONLY.
The Training will take place at Butler County Community College.
