April 18, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

You may register for the training sessions by sending an email to:

Kate Porter at Kate.Porter@DrugCoalition.org

These FREE Trainings will also include information on understanding addiction, locations of Cambria County’s permanent prescription drug collection sites, and Deterra Drug Deactivation system bags – which are scientifically proven to deactivate prescription drugs, rendering them ineffective for misuse and safe for the environment.

Naloxone, also known by the brand name “Narcan” is a prescription medicine that rapidly reverses heroin and other opioid overdoses. The application of Naloxone reminds us that the “antidote” isn’t a cure-all—it’s only the first step in recovery.

The enactment of ACT 139 – “David’s Law”- provides first responders, friends and families access to naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal medicine that will save lives.
